Beschreibung

Durantoside I is a lippia extract that has been shown to have cancer-fighting properties. It is a flavonol glycoside acetate extract that has been purified by liquid chromatography. The compound was acetylated and the surface methodology was used for the extraction. The experimental model was cervical cancer and the preparation method was preparative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Durantoside I has been shown to inhibit cell growth, induce apoptosis, and suppress tumorigenesis in experimental models of cervical cancer.
