Beschreibung:PET-cGMP is an analog of the endogenous cGMP that is synthesized by cells in the gut. PET-cGMP binds to the G protein-coupled receptor and activates cyclase or phosphodiesterase, leading to increased levels of intracellular cAMP or cGMP. This analog has been shown to be effective in inhibiting vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) from activating the enzyme myosin phosphatase and guanylate cyclase inhibitor. PET-cGMP has also been shown to have a potent inhibitory effect on cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase, which degrades cAMP and cGMP. The effects of PET-cGMP on these enzymes may be due to its ability to bind with high affinity to t84 cells, confocal microscope, and mesenteric tissues.
