PD 03055 has been shown to inhibit the binding of acetylcholine and nicotine to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in rat brain tissue, as well as to inhibit the binding of [3H]epibatidine to these receptors in rat cerebral cortex tissue. This peptide is being developed as a research tool for studies on ion channels and protein interactions.
