Produktinformation
- Pyridine, 2-(chloromethyl)-3,5-dimethyl-4-nitro-
2-(Chloromethyl)-3,5-dimethyl-4-nitropyridine (CMDP) is a phosphotungstic acid that can be used as an effective drug in acidic conditions. It is commonly used as a catalyst in chlorination reactions and has been shown to be effective against the growth of bacteria. This chemical is also used to study the molecular structure of omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor for the treatment of acid reflux disease. The chemical has been shown to bind to omeprazole, preventing it from binding with gastric H+/K+ ATPase and thus inhibiting its function.
