Produktinformation
2-Fluoro-4-nitrophenylacetonitrile is a chromophore that can be used in uncaging experiments, where it is excited by light and emits fluorescence. 2-Fluoro-4-nitrophenylacetonitrile has been shown to react with carbonyls or nitro groups, which results in the release of a fluorescent molecule. The fluorescence emission from 2-fluoro 4 nitrophenylacetonitrile is quenched by coumarin derivatives due to the overlap of their emission spectra. This compound also reacts with a photocage such as MBZ, which causes the release of the fluorophore and its subsequent fluorescence emission upon excitation by light.
