This compound has also been shown to inhibit carboxyl synthase and aminoglycoside acetyltransferase enzymes. Nonyl 2-acetamido-3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-2-deoxy b -D glucopyranoside has significant stereoselectivity as well as excellent chemical stability and high solubility in water.
