Beschreibung

Hydroxy-dPEG®12-t-Butyl Ester is a water soluble and non-toxic carbohydrate derivative that can be conjugated to various drugs. This compound is metabolized in the body, with a safety profile similar to that of other sugars. Hydroxy-dPEG®12-t-Butyl Ester is used as a pharmaceutical preparation for peptide synthesis and has been shown to be an excellent tool for the synthesis of p-hydroxybenzoic acid esters. The reactive groups on this compound enable it to form bonds with primary amines, cyclopentyl groups, or chloride ions. It can also react with ethyl esters to form sulfonate esters. Hydroxy-dPEG®12-t-Butyl Ester can also be used as a functional group in polyethylene glycols.
