Beschreibung:INCB054329 is a novel, potent and selective inhibitor of the enzyme IDO1. INCB054329 has been shown to inhibit growth factor-induced proliferation in prostate cancer cells. INCB054329 also inhibits the production of epidermal growth factor (EGF) in prostate cancer cells and has been shown to decrease xenograft tumor growth in mice. The molecular mechanisms of action are not yet fully understood, but it is thought that INCB054329 may inhibit protein synthesis by preventing ribosome assembly at the A site on the ribosome, or by binding to an unidentified site within the cell.
