Beschreibung:
The inhibition rate of 1-(2-methylpropyl)-2,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrole-2,5-dione (L3) against the nematode species Meloidogyne incognita was expressed as a percentage. The L3 nematicide is sustainable and can be used in strategies to control soil-borne pests. L3 has been shown to have an enhancement effect on plants with respect to the expression of fatty acids. This compound also has endoparasitic properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit fatty acid biosynthesis in plant cells.
