Produktinformation
7-Methyl-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyridine is a drug that acts as an antagonist of the adenosine receptor. It has been shown to inhibit the release of dopamine in the striatum and it has been demonstrated in clinical studies to reduce caffeine-induced anxiety. 7-Methyl-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyridine also inhibits phosphorylation of adenosine receptors by protein kinase A. This inhibition is selective for subtypes of adenosine receptor and does not affect other types of kinases. The drug has been shown to be effective against murine xenografts and lung fibroblasts in vitro. It is metabolized through piperazine, which inhibits cytochrome P450 enzymes that are involved in its metabolism. The pharmacokinetic properties of this drug have not been studied extensively in humans but have been studied with myc
