Beschreibung:Benzoylcholine iodide is a non-polymeric, activated form of pyridinium. It inhibits the activity of p-450 enzymes and acid analysis by chloride, methyl ethyl, and antimicrobial agents. Benzoylcholine iodide has been shown to have antimicrobial effects against type strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Candida albicans. This compound also has anti-inflammatory properties through its inhibition of tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in blood samples. The active form can be used for the treatment of infections caused by various bacteria as well as yeast and fungi.
