Beschreibung:Iscotrizinol is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used in wastewater treatment. It has been shown to be an effective agent for the removal of benzene and benzoate, which are common contaminants in water. Iscotrizinol also has antioxidative properties, which is useful for removing other pollutants that can cause skin cancer. Iscotrizinol binds to microcapsules and these particles are taken up by skin cells, where they release their contents. The hydroxyl group on the molecule reacts with oxygen radicals to form hydrogen peroxide and this substance kills bacteria. Iscotrizinol also inhibits the growth of bacteria by inhibiting bacterial DNA synthesis.
