Beschreibung

3-Indolyl b-D-glucuronide cyclohexylammonium salt is a fluorescent compound that has been used in clinical studies to evaluate the light emission of resistant microorganisms. This compound has been shown to be an enzyme substrate for anthranilic acid and oxindole, which are enzymes involved in the synthesis of unsaturated alkyl groups. 3-Indolyl b-D-glucuronide cyclohexylammonium salt has also been shown to inhibit the activities of these enzymes, causing a decrease in the production of unsaturated alkyls. This compound may have potential as a treatment for chronic kidney disease, as it can be detected in urine samples and is excreted by proximal tubules.
