Beschreibung:3-(Aminocarbonyl)-1,2,2-trimethylcyclopentanecarboxylic acid (3ACTC) is a thioglycollate analogue that is used in diagnostic imaging and as a diagnostic agent. 3ACTC can be synthesized from the reaction of methyl alcohol, methyl ethyl ketone, and thiourea. It is an inorganic acid with a monocarboxylic acid group and has been shown to have cardiac effects. 3ACTC reacts with ethylene diamine to form picolinic acid, which has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
