Beschreibung

[(3S)-3-Amino-4-Oxo-4-Phenylmethoxybutyl]Imino-Methyl-Oxidoazanium; 2,2,2-Trifluoroacetic Acid is a bisubstrate inhibitor that binds to the ATP binding site on the enzyme and prevents the transfer of phosphate groups. This drug has been shown to be effective in inhibiting enzymes that catalyze the synthesis of proteins such as kinases and phosphatases. [(3S)-3-Amino-4-Oxo-4-Phenylmethoxybutyl]Imino-Methyl Oxidoazanium; 2,2,2 Trifluoroacetic Acid also inhibits glucose metabolism in yeast cells by blocking the enzyme hexokinase. The drug is metabolized by enzymatic hydrolysis to release 2,2,2 trifluoroacetic acid as an inactive compound.
