Beschreibung:
This drug has been shown to have an apoptotic effect on k562 cells, a minimal toxicity profile in monocytes and macrophages, and no effect on the growth factor. It also inhibits the mitochondrial membrane potential, which is critical for maintaining the balance between cell survival and death. This drug may be useful in treating prostate cancer cells by inhibiting the activation of intracellular targets such as fatty acid synthase or phospholipases A2. The drug has also been shown to inhibit ischemia-reperfusion injury in mouse lung tissue by targeting apical membrane proteins.
