Beschreibung

4-Amino-1-tert-butyl-3-(1'-naphthyl)pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine is a JAK2 inhibitor that has been shown to have anti-proliferative effects on prostate cancer cells. It is an analog of the natural compound 1,4-diaminobutane. 4-Amino-1-tert-butyl-3-(1'-naphthyl)pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine binds to the ATP site of protein kinase JAK2 and prevents phosphorylation of tyrosine residue 1085 in the activation loop. This inhibition leads to decreased activity of signal pathways such as the MAPK pathway and reduced expression of mesenchymal markers.
