• Beschreibung: Aloc-Ser-OMe is an enzyme that catalyzes the cleavage of 1,4-linked alpha-D-galactosides. It has been shown to be a useful reagent for the synthesis of alkyl glycosides. Aloc-Ser-OMe can be used in enzymatic synthesis or chemoenzymatic synthesis. This enzyme has excellent stereospecificity and is quantitatively active at pH 4.5 to 5.0 and at temperatures ranging from 20°C to 40°C. The enzyme can also catalyze transglycosylation reactions with beta-glucosidase, producing galactoarabinan oligosaccharides with various degrees of polymerization.
