(D-Ala2)-Leu-Enkephalin H-Tyr-D-Ala-Gly-Phe-Leu-OH is a peptide that is a member of the endorphin family of endogenous analgesic compounds. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in clinical studies and to suppress bacterial growth in vitro.
