This agent also binds to lysine residues on peptides, which are then degraded by proteases. H-Argo Arg Arg Arg Arg Arg Arg OH trifluoroacetate salt has been shown to have an affinity for flavone luteolin at neutral pH, as well as fatty acid molecules.
