Beschreibung

4-Amino-N-isopropylbenzamide is a diazotization reagent that is used in the synthesis of immunosuppressants. It reacts with primary amines to form a diazo linkage, which can be oxidized and reduced to form a variety of compounds. 4-Amino-N-isopropylbenzamide is an experimental drug that has shown immunosuppressant activity in animals by reducing the number of white blood cells and lymphocytes in the blood. This class of drugs are known as immune suppressants and are used in organ transplantation to prevent rejection. They work by decreasing the body's immune response and suppressing the production of antibodies and helper T cells. 4-Amino-N-isopropylbenzamide has been shown to suppress immune responses when injected into the peritoneal cavity or intraperitoneally.
