N-(4-Acetylphenyl)-2-chloroacetamide (ACP) is a pharmacological agent that has been used to study the antioxidant function of coumarin derivatives. ACP has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on cancer cells, and it inhibits tyrosinase activity in melanocytes. This compound also has inhibitory activities against many microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi.
