Beschreibung

6-Amino-4-hydroxy-2-mercaptopyrimidine is a hydrogen bond inhibitor that binds to the amine group of the enzyme. It is an organic compound with a molecular weight of 182.6 g/mol and a melting point of 202 °C. 6-Amino-4-hydroxy-2-mercaptopyrimidine has been shown to be an inhibitor molecule against 2,4-dichlorobenzoic acid (2,4D) in vitro and in vivo. It also inhibits the activity of human liver enzymes such as cytochrome P450 (CYP) 1A1 and CYP3A4. 6-Amino-4-hydroxy-2-mercaptopyrimidine has been shown to react with H+ ions, which causes it to lose its protonated form and form a cationic intermediate. This intermediate then reacts with an electron acceptor such as 2,4
