Beschreibung

2-Amino-N-isopropylbenzamide is an amide compound that has been used as a pesticide. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of activated chloride channels in rat neutrophils and in cultured human erythrocytes, which leads to cellular hyperpolarization. 2-Amino-N-isopropylbenzamide also inhibits the release of protocatechuic acid from human neutrophils, which has been implicated in their activation and inflammatory response. This compound may be useful for the treatment of diseases such as meningitis and cranial cavity infections due to its ability to inhibit bacterial growth.
