Beschreibung

Dimebon is a drug that was developed in the former Soviet Union in the 1970s and 1980s. It has been used to treat neurodermatitis, an inflammatory skin disorder, and as an antiarrhythmic agent. Dimebon's mechanism of action is not fully understood but is thought to be related to its ability to activate certain types of immune cells. In addition, dimebon has been shown to inhibit the release of histamine from mast cells and may have antihistaminic effects.
Dimebon has also been investigated for its use in treating cardiac arrhythmias and normalizing cardiac function following myocardial infarction. It has also been shown to reduce exudative reactions in animals with allergic reactions.
