Beschreibung

2-Amino-2-ethylpropane-1,3-diol is an organic compound that is a derivative of 2-aminoethanol. This chemical substance has reactive properties and can be used as a hydrogen bond donor. The clinical relevance of this chemical substance is unknown. In vitro assays have shown that it causes oxidative injury to the mitochondrial membrane potential, necrotic cell death, and dibutyltin oxide toxicity. It also has been shown to have antioxidative properties. 2-Amino-2-ethylpropane-1,3-diol is not known to cause allergic reactions in humans or other animals.
