Beschreibung

AzaphenHydrochloride is a drug for the treatment of infectious diseases. It inhibits p450 activity, which is an enzyme that metabolizes drugs in the liver. This inhibition prevents the metabolism of other drugs, thereby increasing the level of these drugs in the body. Experimental studies have shown that AzaphenHydrochloride has a specific inhibitory effect on leukocyte proliferation and may be useful as a treatment for autoimmune diseases. It also has been used to treat anginal attacks, with an effective dose at 0.5-2 milligrams per kilogram of body weight, and has been found to inhibit growth factor uptake in experimental models. The drug can cause allergic reactions when administered intravenously or intramuscularly and should not be given orally because it is poorly absorbed by this route.
