Beschreibung

3-(A-Acetonylbenzyl)-4-hydroxycoumarin sodium salt is a naturally occurring compound with anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant properties. It is used as an analytical reagent, for determining the presence of natriuretic peptide levels in human serum. 3-(A-Acetonylbenzyl)-4-hydroxycoumarin sodium salt has been shown to decrease the blood levels of warfarin by inhibiting its metabolism through the cytochrome P450 enzyme system. This drug has been shown to have no effect on the polymerase chain reaction or on water vapor. 3-(A-Acetonylbenzyl)-4-hydroxycoumarin sodium salt has also been studied as a potential therapeutic agent for cancer treatment due to its ability to inhibit DNA template production and cell proliferation.
