Cis-2-Amino-cyclopentanol Hydrochloride may also be useful for the synthesis of other oxazolines. The hydrolysis of cis-2-Amino-cyclopentanol Hydrochloride to form an N--N bond leads to a series of hydrolytic products, including chloride ion, which may lead to anticholinesterase activity.
