Produktinformation
- 2,3-Dichloro-4-aminophenol
- 2,3-dichloro-4-hydroxyaniline
4-Amino-2,3-dichlorophenol is a substructure that is part of the chemical structure of hydrosulfite. This substance is a white crystalline solid with a molecular weight of 183.4 g/mol and a density of 1.14 g/cm3. It can be produced by the reaction of anhydrous sodium sulfate with methylbenzene catalyzed by ammonia, sulfur dioxide, or hydrogen sulfide in the presence of iron or copper. 4-Amino-2,3-dichlorophenol has been shown to catalyze the reduction of methylbenzenes to benzene using catalytic techniques such as gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) or liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS). The substance also has high flammability and should be handled with care.
