Beschreibung

L-Alanine t-butyl ester hydrochloride is a synthetic amide that inhibits the activity of citric acid cycle enzymes in cancer cells. It has been shown to enhance the uptake of peptides by cells and inhibit the growth of bacteria. L-Alanine t-butyl ester hydrochloride also has inhibitory properties on the replication of DNA and RNA. This drug is an excipient that is used as a solvent for other compounds, such as peptidomimetics, which are designed to mimic peptides and proteins. The ester hydrochloride form is an anti-inflammatory agent that can be used as a topical analgesic. L-Alanine t-butyl ester hydrochloride is often used as a germination rate enhancer in plant tissue culture.
