Beschreibung:Aluminium carbonate, basic is a diatomaceous earth that is used in water and wastewater treatment. The aluminum content of the product is approximately 10%. Diatomite has been shown to be effective in the removal of bacteria from water by adsorption. This product also has high adsorption capacity for sulfates, methyl ethers, and acidic compounds. Diatomite can be used as a filter medium for hydroxyapatite in dental restorations and as an agent to remove fluoride from drinking water. It can also be used as a catalyst for zirconium production or to remove potassium from fertilizers.
