Beschreibung:Azacyclonol is a cytotoxic drug that prevents the proliferation of cancer cells, by inhibiting DNA synthesis. This drug has shown to be effective in treating bowel diseases, and is also used as a pharmacological agent for the treatment of infectious diseases. Azacyclonol has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Listeria monocytogenes, and Haemophilus influenzae. It is also used to treat infections caused by HIV. The mechanism of action for azacyclonol is unknown; however, it may be due to its ability to bind with cell factor or stem cell factor.
