Beschreibung:Aminomalonamide is a diphenyl ether compound that has been used as an immunosuppressant in the treatment of cancer. It is also an activator of AMPK, which may be responsible for its insulin-sensitizing effects. Aminomalonamide blocks the synthesis of amines from ammonia and other sources by competitive inhibition of the enzyme, amino acid decarboxylase. It is also an inhibitor of malonic acid synthetase and triazine synthetase, which are enzymes involved in the production of carcinogenic compounds. Aminomalonamide has shown anti-inflammatory properties and can inhibit influenza virus replication.
