Produktinformation
- Methanesulfonothioic acid S-(3-aminopropyl)ester hydrobromideMTSPA
3-Aminopropyl methanethiosulfonate hydrobromide is a covalent inhibitor that binds to the active site of matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry. 3-Aminopropyl methanethiosulfonate hydrobromide binds to the fatty acid binding site of cyclic lipopeptides, which inhibits fatty acid synthesis. The irreversible inhibition of 3-aminopropyl methanethiosulfonate hydrobromide can be modulated by its binding to other proteins in the cell and its affinity for fatty acids. This drug has anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties, which are due to its ability to inhibit fatty acid synthesis.
