Beschreibung:9-Anthrylmethyl methacrylate (9AMMA) is an organic solvent that has been used in photochemical reactions and as a chromophore for optical measurements. It is a fluorescent compound that absorbs ultraviolet light and emits light in the visible region. 9AMMA can be covalently immobilized to surfaces with reactive groups such as amine, carboxylic acid, or thiol groups. This compound can be used in the preparation of pharmaceutical preparations, such as capsules, tablets, or suppositories. 9AMMA is also used to measure human serum levels of drugs such as nifedipine by fluorescence spectroscopy.
