Beschreibung

3-Aminopropyldimethylmethoxysilane is a monolayer, divalent hydrocarbon with a reaction rate of 2.5×10 moles/s. The activation energy for this reaction is 22.4 kilojoules per mole. 3-Aminopropyldimethylmethoxysilane has been shown to react with various inorganic substances, such as aluminum oxide and titanium dioxide to form silica layers on their surfaces.
