Beschreibung

Ammonium O,O'-dimethyl phosphoro dithioate is a phytotoxic compound that belongs to the class of organophosphorus insecticides. It has been shown to be an effective acaricide and nematocide. It is also an effective chemotherapeutic agent against many types of cancer cells. The compound is classified as a pyrimidine derivative, which inhibits the synthesis of DNA by inhibiting ribonucleotide reductase. This inhibition leads to cell death by depriving the cell of nucleotides needed for DNA synthesis.
