Beschreibung

2-Amino-6-chlorobenzothiazole is a chemical compound that is used as a fungicide. It has been shown to have potentiodynamic polarization, halide, and antifungal properties. This chemical inhibits the growth of cancer cells in vitro by blocking their replication and interfering with the production of DNA. 2-Amino-6-chlorobenzothiazole also prevents the formation of carcinogenic heterocyclic amines from amines found in food, such as glycol ethers and hydroxamic acids. The toxicity of this chemical is low based on animal studies.
