Beschreibung

7-Amino-1,3-naphthalenedisulfonic acid is a fluorescent dye used in analytical chemistry. It is used to detect the presence of sugars such as disaccharides, glycosidic bonds and fatty acids. The compound reacts with the sugar molecules to form a fluorescent product. This product can be detected using a fluorescence detector or by liquid chromatography methods. 7-Amino-1,3-naphthalenedisulfonic acid can also be used as an indicator for acidic pHs and phenols.
