Beschreibung:
Acid Orange 116 is a synthetic dye that is used in the textile, paper, and leather industries. It is also used as an acid dye for the treatment of wastewater. Acid Orange 116 has been shown to have a low viscosity and high solubility in deionized water. The uptake of this compound by caco-2 cells was determined to be pH dependent, with an increase in uptake at lower pHs. In addition, this compound can be used as a control agent for calcium carbonate precipitates in wastewater treatment. Acid Orange 116 is not toxic to humans due to its low molecular weight and lack of bioactivity, but it may pose environmental risks through its potential for environmental pollution.
