Beschreibung

SS Acid is a polycarboxylic acid that is produced by the oxidation of naphthalene. It has been shown to be an inhibitor of mammalian cell proliferation and has been used for the treatment of infertility in humans. SS Acid inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species, which are involved in inflammation and oxidative stress, by reacting with hydrogen ions. It also reacts with aliphatic hydrocarbons to form a reactive intermediate that can bind to nitrogen atoms on biological molecules such as DNA. SS Acid also inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi by disrupting their cell membranes. This prevents cells from taking up nutrients, leading to cell death.
