Beschreibung

Primaquine is a drug used to treat malaria. It is an antimalarial medication that belongs to the group of natural compounds and is used in the treatment of blood-borne infections. Primaquine has been shown to be effective against the erythrocytic stages of Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium ovale, and Plasmodium malariae. This drug has also been shown to be effective in treating liver disease caused by amoebic infection, such as bowel disease and hepatic abscesses. Diagnosis and control analysis have been improved using primaquine as a model system. The optimum concentration of primaquine for use in humans has not yet been determined.
