Beschreibung:
2-Amino-4-(pyridin-4-yl)-1,3-thiazole is a potent anticancer agent. It inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells by stopping the growth of new blood vessels to the tumor. This drug also has a potent cytotoxic effect on glioma and carcinoma cells. 2-Amino-4-(pyridin-4-yl)-1,3-thiazole has been shown to inhibit the activity of acetylated derivatives of piperazine that are responsible for mediating tumor angiogenesis. 2-Amino-4-(pyridin-4-yl)-1,3-thiazole also prevents the corrosion of metal surfaces and can be used as an inhibitor in Langmuir adsorption isotherms.
