• Beschreibung: 1-Acetylindoline is an endogenous compound that has been shown to have antioxidative activity. It is also a precursor of indole-3-acetic acid and has been shown to reduce the production of proinflammatory cytokines in vitro. 1-Acetylindoline has been found to have hypoglycemic effects in rats, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the release of insulin from pancreatic beta cells. This substance also possesses peptide hormone activities, being a potent inhibitor of prolactin release in vitro. 1-Acetylindoline has also been shown to have antihyperproliferative effects on prostate cancer cells by inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis.
