Beschreibung

4-Amino-2-fluorobenzoic acid is a potent inhibitor of formylating enzymes, such as carbonyl reductase and amino acid formyltransferase. It has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of cancer cells in vivo and inhibits the growth of prostate cancer cells. This compound has also been shown to inhibit nitro reduction reactions, which are involved in the carcinogenic process. 4-Amino-2-fluorobenzoic acid reacts with chloride ions to produce a functional group that can react with carbon nanotubes, making it a candidate for use in cancer therapy.
