3-Aminophenylboronic acid is a chemical compound with the molecular formula of C6H5NH2B3O4. It has a phase transition temperature of 135.7 °C and is soluble in water. 3-Aminophenylboronic acid can be used to measure the concentration of dopamine in human serum, as well as other biological fluids, by using fluorescence probe methods or electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). 3-Aminophenylboronic acid reacts with ferrocene carboxylic acid to create an electrochemical current that can be measured using EIS.
