Beschreibung

9-(4-Acetoxy-3-acetoxymethylbutyl)-2-amino-6-chloropurine is a purine derivative that has been synthesized by the chlorination of 9-(4-acetoxy-3-hydroxymethylbutyl)-6-chloropurine. It is an oxidant that can be used for the synthesis of other purine derivatives. The structure of this compound has been determined using X-ray crystallography and it is a diacetate. 9-(4-Acetoxy-3-acetoxymethylbutyl)-2-amino-6-chloropurine is also a reagent that can be used in the measurement of guanine, which is an important nucleic acid base found in DNA and RNA.
