2-Aminotetraline-2-carboxylic acid is a synthetic compound that binds to the delta and kappa receptors. It has been shown to have low affinity for the δ opioid receptor, which may be due to stereoselectivity. This compound has also been shown to alkylate DNA. 2-Aminotetraline-2-carboxylic acid binds to the delta and kappa receptors with higher affinity than other analogs of this class of compounds.
