Beschreibung

4-Amino-4'-nitrobiphenyl is an organic solvent that is used as a starting material for the synthesis of other compounds. It is a white solid that has optical properties and is soluble in many organic solvents. 4-Amino-4'-nitrobiphenyl has been shown to have antibacterial activity against group p2 bacteria such as typhimurium, although it does not have any effect on enterobacteriaceae or e coli. 4-Amino-4'-nitrobiphenyl also inhibits amine formation and nitro reduction, but its effects on aminophenol are not well known. This compound was synthesized by reacting nitric acid with diphenylamine hydrochloride and sodium sulfide in vitro studies.
